Public Debate: „Climate Change and the Future of Europe“

Am 14. Juni 2023 findet ein Online-Dialog im Anschluss an die Veröffentlichung des Buches „Climate change and the future of Europe: views from the capitals“ (auf Englisch) statt, der von TEPSA gemeinsam mit dem Europäischen Institut für Rumänien (EIR) organisiert wird.
Der lokale Buchbeitrag, der während der Veranstaltung vorgestellt wird, lenkt die Aufmerksamkeit auf den Beitrag zu den ehrgeizigen europäischen Zielen, während er gleichzeitig mit tief verwurzelten sektoralen Mängeln konfrontiert wird. Darüber hinaus werden zwei Experten für die Bekämpfung von Desinformation und die Förderung von Nachhaltigkeit eine Reihe von Ansichten aus Bukarest zum Thema Klimawandel und die Zukunft Europas vorstellen. Der Dialog wird von Prof. Dr. Michael Kaeding, Mitherausgeber des Buches, moderiert.

An online dialogue following the launch of the book “Climate change and the future of Europe: views from the capitals” is set to take place on 14 June 2023, as organized by TEPSA together with the European Institute of Romania (EIR).
The local book contribution which will be presented during the event draws the attention towards contributing to ambitious European targets while facing deep-rooted sectoral flaws. Moreover, a series of views from Bucharest concerning the topic of climate change and the future of Europe are going to be presented by two experts in combatting disinformation and advancing sustainability. The dialogue will be moderated by Michael Kaeding, co-editor of the book.
