In an effort to communicate European policy content in an innovative and accessible way, the Chair of European Politics is organising a pub quiz on 12 June 2025 from 6 pm at the Finkenkrug in Duisburg. This initiative aims to broaden the perception of European politics beyond traditional academic contexts and appeal to a wider public.
Under the motto ‘Knowledge, humour and feel-good vibes’, the European Union will be highlighted in a relaxed yet informative setting. Participants will be able to test their knowledge of Europe and the EU in a relaxed atmosphere, with questions ranging from curious facts to more complex contexts. The pub quiz format allows people without any specific prior knowledge to engage with European topics in a playful way and develop a new interest in them.
In addition to an entertaining round of questions designed to stimulate thought in an interactive way, attractive prizes will be awarded to the winning teams.
